Chinese shooters wrapped up the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Thursday, with five gold medals after Ma Qianke and Zhang Yifan added the mixed team 10m air pistol title.
Two Chinese pairs, Ma and Zhang, Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai, showed good form in qualifying. Yao and Hu got into the groove early in the deciding match-up. They led 8-4 after winning by 0.1 points in round six. However, Ma and Zhang bounced back, combining for 21 points in round 10 and tied the overall score at 10.
In round 13, Yao and Hu finished with 20.3 points, but they were edged by another 21 from Ma and Zhang, who closed out the contest 16-10 to win the title. China wrapped up the World Cup with five gold, three silver and three bronze medals, finishing top of the table.
