Lao Airlines' first commercial flight operating China's domestically produced C909 aircraft took place on Saturday.
Flight QV331 took off from Lao capital Vientiane and landed at Pakse International Airport.
The aircraft was delivered to Lao Airlines on March 30, marking its debut in the Lao market.
According to the aircraft's manufacturer, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd., the C909, bearing interior and exterior signage in Lao and a custom-designed livery, boasts excellent high-temperature performance and the ability to take off and land on short and narrow runways. These features ensure that it is able to adapt to Southeast Asia's operational environment.
