The Biosphere, located in Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, Canada, was originally the United States Pavilion during Expo 67, held by Montreal. Today, it serves as a museum dedicated to promoting the environment and its protection, aiming to raise people's awareness, action and engagement in support of the socio-ecological transition. Designed by renowned American architect Buckminster Fuller, the Biosphere is famous for its striking geodesic dome structure, making it an iconic landmark of Montreal.
