CGTN Stringer recently hit the streets of Hanoi and asked the locals to share their take on Chinese dramas and their cultural impact. Nguyen Kim Ngoc, a local employee said, "Chinese dramas are actually very popular in Vietnam. They air during prime time. They were even more frequent before.”University student Nguyen Hoang Trung shared, "Watching Chinese dramas helps us better understand Chinese culture, history, lifestyle, people and cuisine."
