Over the years, people-to-people exchanges have brought China and Vietnam ever closer. The number of Chinese tourists to Vietnam more than doubled from a year ago to 3.7 million in 2024. Chinese films, video games and language studies are popular among Vietnamese youth, while many Vietnamese songs trend on Chinese social media. CGTN partnered with Vietnam Television to get people's impressions of each other's countries.
