During their breeding season, golden pheasants put on dazzling courtship displays on the outskirts of Linfen City, north China's Shanxi Province. Male pheasants are often seen circling brown-feathered females, strutting proudly with puffed-out, colorful chests and flaunting their brilliant plumage. At times, they spin swiftly in place, their long tail feathers fanning out to showcase their masculine charm.
