Chinese President Xi Jinping's speech delivered to representatives attending the Chinese and Vietnamese People's Friendship Meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam, has sparked a renewed wave of youth development initiatives. He extended an invitation to Vietnamese youth to participate in the "Red Study Tours" in China over the next three years.

The Red Study Tours will serve as a new driving force for the academic and personal growth of young people from both nations, says Zhou Xiaozhou, a scholar on international exchanges from the Central School of the Communist Youth League of China.
