In recent years, esports has played an increasingly important role in cultural exchanges among the world's younger generations. That includes "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang" (MLBB), developed by Chinese game company Moonton, which has become a national favorite in Malaysia and a leading example of Chinese esports going global.
CGTN Sports Scene's Greg Laffradi interviewed Stormie, the mid-laner for Malaysian esports team SRG, who shared his experiences in game-based cultural exchanges with China, and said he's very much looking forward to having the opportunity to compete in China in the future.
