Yura Borisov, who portrays Pushkin, is a prominent young actor in Russia. He received the Best Leading Actor Award at the 19th Russian Golden Eagle Awards for his role in "Kalashnikov," the Best Actor Award at the 38th Nika Awards, another of Russia's prestigious national film awards, for "This Summer Will End," and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 97th Academy Awards (Oscars) for his performance in "Anora."
