The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) concluded successfully on April 18, setting a new record for scale with its six-day duration and showing significant growth in international participation and professionalism compared to previous years. As the guest country of honor, the UK showcased its presence under the theme "British Craftsmanship in Hainan," with an exhibition area exceeding 1,300 square meters and featuring 53 brands – roughly double the number from the last expo.
In this video, Max Passey, a British student from Hainan University, explores the UK pavilion, introducing viewers to exhibits in beauty and personal care, British fashion, health consumption, lifestyle and outdoor activities. He also interviews staff members about their experiences at the expo and discusses the role of the event in fostering cooperation between China and the UK.
