The Embassy of Iceland in China and the Representative Offices of the Faroe Islands and Greenland, hosted "West Nordic Day 2025" in Beijing this April. The event highlighted the breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage of these three distinct Nordic regions, offering Chinese audiences and media an immersive introduction to their tourism potential.  

In their keynote speeches, Icelandic ambassador to China Thorir Ibsen, Greenland Representative to China Jacob Isbosethsen, and Faroe Islands Representative to China Aki Johansen emphasized the growing tourism appeal of their homelands. Ambassador Ibsen noted China's deepening partnerships with the three regions in renewable energy and aquaculture, underscoring the country's significance as a key market for Nordic tourism.
