"Chinese cinema often gives me new ideas and a different experience – I love it," Finnish director Teemu Nikki told CGTN's Zhang Meng on the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 15th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF).

As one of the international jury members for this year's BJIFF Tiantan Awards, Nikki said he was eager to see all the films and get to know his fellow jury members. He also expressed hope of exploring future co-productions with Chinese filmmakers.
