China's You Hao topped the podium in the men's rings at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Doha, which saw five gold medals handed out on Friday.
The runner-up four years ago at the pandemic-delayed Tokyo Olympics proved his mettle during the qualifications by ranking first going into the final. The 32-year-old then consistently demonstrated his ability to excel under pressure in the closing phase and scored 14.400 points to claim the title.
In other action, China's Hong Yanming finished third in the qualifications, and elevated his performance in the final to earn the silver medal on the men's pommel horse.
Meanwhile, 49-year-old Uzbekistan legend Oksana Chusovitina finished sixth in the women's vault, while Slovenia's Teja Belak won the title.
