Following the devastating magnitude-7.9 earthquake that struck Myanmar, which claimed the lives of over 3,000 people, a 50-member Chinese public health team bound for Myanmar departed from Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, on Saturday. The group will support post-earthquake epidemic prevention and carry out comprehensive health interventions in Mandalay, one of the worst-hit regions.
