"We've taken a significant step forward in building a community with a shared future with our neighboring countries," Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said during a press briefing that President Xi Jinping's trip to Vietnam, Malaysia and Cambodia from Monday to Friday was the Chinese head of state's first overseas tour this year. The message of building a community with a shared future was received by all neighboring countries, and they responded positively and with great attention, Wang added.
