The 2025 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon, the world's first half marathon to feature humanoid robot participants, concluded on Saturday. Twenty humanoid robots joined over 12,000 human runners in the race, marking the first time robots have competed alongside people in such an event. CGTN caught up with Casbot SE, a "runner" that successfully crossed the finish line. The company behind it spent hours training the robot for its first-ever half marathon.
