IFRC coordinator speaks on crisis response after Myanmar earthquake

China had sent a team of 50 healthcare workers to Myanmar to assist with post-disaster epidemic prevention following a deadly earthquake in March. The United Nations says nearly 60,000 people are still living in temporary shelters. CGTN spoke with Marie Manrique, programme coordinator of the Myanmar Delegation at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). She says the focus must now shift to long-term recovery, especially with monsoon season approaching.
