At the 15th Beijing International Film Festival, CGTN interviewed Jessica Kiang, a member of the selection committee for the Berlin International Film Festival.
Kiang praised China as an enormous, exciting market with a diverse range of films. She pointed out the increasing global visibility of both independent productions and major blockbusters from the country.
She noted the success of Chinese films like "Ne Zha 2," emphasizing that "a rising tide raises all ships."
"It's a really exciting time" for Chinese cinema, she said.
