April 23 marks World Book Day. In Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province, reading no longer requires a trip to the library. Thanks to 68 mobile libraries set up across the city, books are available right at residents' doorsteps, handy for borrowing and returning them anytime. Residents can browse and reserve books online using their mobile phones, then pick them up from a designated self-service station the following day.
