The 15th Beijing International Film Festival is taking place in Beijing from April 18 to 26. The year 2025 marks the 130th anniversary of world cinema and the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema.

German student Furuisai, who lived in Shanghai, shared his views on Chinese films. He enjoys Chinese animation, comedy, and sci-fi films, such as "Ne Zha," "Hi, Mom," and "The Wandering Earth." Of those, the story of "Ne Zha" about being misunderstood and still choosing to fight for his own path really touched him. Furuisai believes that Chinese cinema has great potential and hopes to see more international cooperation in this field.
