“We should embrace new technologies like ChatGPT and AIGC,” said renowned art director Huo Tingxiao at the Motion Picture Association Film Workshop on Monday during the 15th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF).
As Vice Chairman of the China Film Association and President of the China Film Art Direction Academy, Huo shared his insights on how AI is transforming the workflow for concept artists and reflected on the vital relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence in the future of filmmaking. He emphasized that while AI will become an increasingly important tool, art at its core will always require human imagination and creation.
