During their talks in Beijing on April 23, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced the launch of a comprehensive strategic partnership. In recent years, China-Azerbaijan relations have experienced robust growth and deepening cooperation, setting a benchmark for strategic partnerships. 

In an earlier exclusive interview with CGTN's Tian Wei, President Aliyev praised China's pivotal role in the global economy and expressed confidence in its capacity to foster new growth engines, particularly in technology and green innovation.
