Chinese President Xi Jinping and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a joint statement on establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries after their talks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Wednesday. They also witnessed the signing of 20 documents on cooperation in such areas as the Belt and Road Initiative, justice, green development, the digital economy, intellectual property rights and aerospace.
