Hopes high for China-Pakistan space cooperation

01:11

The China Manned Space Agency said Wednesday that a Pakistani astronaut will participate as a payload specialist on a China Space Station joint flight and undertake scientific experiments while there. On April 24, the China National Space Administration announced a new project by Pakistan as it will take part in the Chang'e-8 lunar exploration mission. It's one of ten international projects. The news has raised hopes of even deeper space cooperation between the two countries.
