China Media Group (CMG) and the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation on Thursday, agreeing to deepen cooperation in promoting horse riding and broadcasting and reporting events of the sport.
Shen Haixiong, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of CMG, and Ingmar De Vos, president of the FEI and a member of the International Olympic Committee, signed the MOU in Beijing.
Founded in Paris in 1921, the FEI is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, with 136 member organizations. The Chinese Equestrian Association joined the FEI in 1982.
