The 4th CMG Forum opened on Friday with the participation of global politicians and representatives of international organizations and media outlets from 95 countries. The event is being held in Qufu, the birthplace of the great Chinese philosopher Confucius in east China's Shandong Province. Attendees will reflect on ancient wisdom, connect with each other and strengthen ties through emerging technologies. CMG also debuted its new media initiative "China Up Close," during which international journalists will explore Shandong Province for a week.
