Rising temperatures are melting Ulungur Lake in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, creating naan-shaped ice formations across the surface. Drifting atop the water, the crystal-clear ice cubes, combined with the mirror-like reflection of the sky, create a breathtaking and dream-like landscape. As one of China's largest freshwater lakes, Ulungur Lake plays a vital role in supporting regional wetlands and bird migration.
