Thousands of migratory herons have transformed the campus of a middle school in Chongqing's Jiangjin District into their temporary home, settling in the trees to build nests and raise their young. To welcome these feathered visitors, the school has boosted tree care, ensuring lush foliage provides a safe, comfortable environment for the herons to nest and thrive. When the nesting season ends in August, the herons will migrate again.
