Since the Trump administration took office, the U.S. has implemented a series of tariffs, resulting in increased costs for goods, and putting pressure on domestic businesses and consumers. It has also sparked international tensions and retaliatory tariffs, further escalating trade conflicts.
In this episode, CGTN Stringer interviewed Albert Solis, a U.S. salesman for automotive parts, and Viktor Yale, a luxury store owner in the U.S., to get their views on the impact of the tariffs. Albert Solis said, in the end, this is a trade war and it's "not good for anyone." He also noted that trust and confidence are essential for conducting business. "It is gonna affect us all if the market fails."
