Apple's supply chain, which spans millions of people across more than 50 countries and regions, faces unprecedented uncertainty after the U.S. announced an adjusted reciprocal tariff policy on April 2.

The reciprocal tariff will be adjusted to 24 percent, 25 percent and 32 percent for Japan, South Korea and China's Taiwan region, respectively. Tariff costs from the Chinese mainland combine 34 percent of adjusted reciprocal tariffs and 20 percent of February duties.

The iPhone-maker will face estimated additional costs of $33 billion annually given its exposure to tariffs, according to Morgan Stanley. The additional tariff costs would represent 26 percent of Apple's earnings before interest and taxes in 2025.

CGTN analyzed the impact of new tariffs on Apple's supply chain in the following graphic.
