As Donald Trump enters his 100th day in office, tariff wars have inflicted numerous damages on both in and outside the U.S. In the special program "Braving the Tariff Storm," presented by CGTN, American farmers – once Trump's proud base – are now among the hardest hit by his enduring tariff war. Caleb Ragland, a ninth-generation soybean farmer and Trump supporter, warns that his 200-year-old family farm may go bankrupt by 2027. U.S. agriculture, supporting 34 million jobs, has lost major ground in China to Brazil since 2018. The ripple effect reaches consumers, too – average households could lose $3,800 a year from rising prices.
