Over 8,000 peony plants are blooming at the Twin Pagoda Museum in Taiyuan, capital city of China's Shanxi Province. Among them are seven rare peonies named Zixiaxian. Each of them is more than 400 years old, dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Twin Pagodas of Yongzuo Temple, a historic landmark of Taiyuan, were built during the Ming Dynasty. They provide a stunning backdrop for this floral spectacle, which attracts many visitors.
