CMG airs special program honoring workers on Labor Day

China Media Group (CMG) aired a special program for the 2025 International Labor Day at 8 p.m. on Thursday night, paying tribute to national role model workers and exemplary individuals.

Themed "Labor is the source of all happiness," the program highlighted the remarkable century-long journey of the trade union movement led by the Communist Party of China. It promoted the spirit of role model workers, the spirit of labor and the spirit of craftsmanship while telling the stories of hardworking people in the new era and on the new journey through diverse artistic forms.

The year marks the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the year when national role model workers are commended once every five years.
