Guo Muye and Liu Jinhan of China earned silver in the mixed duet free final at the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup in Markham, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday.
The competition marked the international debut of 16-year-old Guo and 23-year-old Liu as a pair. Guo won the men's solo free title earlier at this World Cup stop.
The duo scored 276.9909 points in the final, finishing in second place and sharing the podium with two Spanish pairs, gold medalists Dennis Gonzalez Boneu and Iris Tio Casas, and bronze medalists Jordi Caceres Iglesias and Aurora Lazaro Cabaleiro.
In other action, Chinese twin sisters Lin Yanhan and Lin Yanjun secured silver in the women's duet free final with 253.0640 points. Tio Casas and Lilou Lluis Valette claimed gold, while French duo Laelys Alavez and Romane Lunel came away with bronze.
