The year of 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Great Patriotic War and the World Anti-Fascist War.

CGTN invited Gen Z students from China and Russia to experience life in each other's country and share their cultural experiences abroad. In this video, Lu Ying, a Chinese student at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, completed three tasks in Moscow: tasting Russian cottage cheese pancakes, visiting Gorky Park and touring the Lenin Library. While trying cottage cheese pancakes, she was reminded of a Chinese snack called "fried milk" and marveled at its unique texture. After a day of experiences, Lu felt that she had gradually adapted to and grown fond of life in Moscow. She believes that China and Russia are not only neighbors but also partners, and hopes that more Gen Z youths will contribute to the ongoing exchange between the two countries.
