In southwest China's Yunnan Province, infrared cameras captured rare footage of several protected species. The footage from Daxueshan National Nature Reserve in Yongde includes a sambar deer basking in the sun with its young, red muntjacs strolling and foraging in small groups, and the agile Chinese goral. Home to over 60 rare and endemic species, Dashueshan is a biodiversity hotspot and a key area for ecological conservation.
