According to new industry data, China experienced a recovery and growth in both the cultural and travel tourism markets during the recent Labor Day holiday. Data showed that the number of domestic trips made during the five-day holiday period reached 314 million, an increase of 6.4 percent over the same period last year.

Across the country, local authorities and tourism operators rolled out a wide array of cultural and travel offerings, enhancing the integration between culture and tourism while leveraging technology to improve management and service quality.

A variety of experiences – from scenic resorts and leisure streets to rural tourism and historically themed tours – proved highly popular with travelers, reflecting both the sector's growing vitality and the increasing enthusiasm for cultural and tourism consumption.
