Americans traditionally gift flowers to loved ones on special occasions such as Mother's Day and the upcoming graduation and wedding seasons. However, florists are now struggling with increasing prices due to soaring tariffs.

Flowers in the U.S. are mostly imported from Colombia, Ecuador, Canada, the Netherlands and Mexico, while most of the packages used are from China, according to the United States Census Bureau and the White House.

Shop owners now face a dilemma. If they maintain current prices, they will make very low profits. If they raise prices, they could lose loyal customers who have been buying their flowers for years.
