Close ties between China and Russia are on display in the border city of Heihe in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. Trucks loaded with goods regularly cross the Heilongjiang River, known in Russia as the Amur River, along a new bridge linking Heihe to Blagoveschchensk, its sister city in Russia.
