United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called for military restraint from India and Pakistan.
"The world cannot afford a military confrontation between India and Pakistan," he said in a note on Tuesday.
He condemned the terror attack which took place on April 22 in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir, leaving at least 26 civilians dead and many more injured.
