From May 7 to 10, Chinese President Xi Jinping is paying a state visit to Russia and attending the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union's Great Patriotic War in Moscow. On the streets of Moscow, the national flags of China and Russia flutter in the wind. Along the main road from the airport to the city center, large electronic screens and prominent banners display messages of welcome.
