China Media Group signs multiple cooperation documents with Russian institutions

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a ceremony on Thursday for the signing and exchange of cooperation documents.

Witnessed by the leaders of the two countries, Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group (CMG), exchanged cooperation documents with Oleg Dobrodeev, CEO of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company; Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of Russia Today; and Svetlana Balanova, CEO of Russia's National Media Group, separately. 

Shen, on behalf of the China Film Administration, also exchanged cooperation documents with Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova.

CMG signed four cooperation documents with the Russian side, under which the two sides will establish a regular cooperation mechanism and further expand cooperation in various aspects.
