Hosts China defeated Chinese Taiepi 5-3 for their second straight win at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women's Futsal Asian Cup in Hohhot, China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on Thursday.

China scored first less than five minutes into the game. Tang Yalan's pass reached Zhang Rui who shot into the bottom corner to give her side a 1-0 lead. Then with less than eight minutes to go in the first half, Su Jiahong's cross from the left was converted into China's second goal by Cao Jiayi, doubling their advantage to 2-0.

Chu Fang-yi pulled one back for Chinese Taipei with a long shot early in the second half, but then her teammate Chen Ya-chun scored an own goal to put the opponents' lead back to two goals at 3-1.

Four minutes later, China's goalkeeper Liu Danping exploited her Chinese Taipei counterpart's absence from the goal and shot directly into the net, extending their advantage to 4-1.

Both sides continued fast attacks as the game went on and netted another three goals before the battle ended as a victory for China. The hosts will face Uzbekistan on Saturday.
