The China-Russia co-production "Red Silk" will be screened in Chinese theaters in September.
Based on true historical events, the detective movie tells the story of couriers of the Communist Party of China who join hands with Soviet comrades to safeguard top-secret documents in Siberia in 1927.
The film was shot in locations both in China and in Russia and has premiered in Moscow and Berlin ahead of its release in China.
