The Chen Wenzeng Ding Porcelain Art Museum in Quyang County, opened to the public in June 2017, was established to commemorate the extraordinary contribution of master craftsman Chen Wenzeng to the revival of the Ding porcelain technique. The museum displays thousands of selected works by Chen Wenzeng, who through four decades of endeavors, helped bring back to life the Ding porcelain technique that had been lost for hundreds of years.

Through a series of archaeological discovery exhibitions, visitors can also learn about the evolution of Ding porcelain, which originated in Quyang over a millennium ago. Known for its jade-like color and unique decorative patterns, Ding porcelain reached its peak during the Song Dynasty and ranked among the five most famous forms of porcelain at the time.
