China's Zhang Haiqin dominated the women's 55-kilogram category, sweeping three golds and breaking the world junior records at the Asian Weightlifting Championships in Jiangshan, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Saturday.

The rising star, born in 2005, successfully completed all six attempts. Zhang lifted 99kg in the snatch to win her first gold, followed by a commanding 126kg in the clean and jerk, securing the victory with a total of 225kg while breaking all three world junior records.

China's Wang Hao seized an early lead in the men's 61kg division, winning snatch gold with 142kg. However, DPRK's Pak Myong Jin staged a thrilling comeback in the clean and jerk. While Wang managed 163kg in his opening attempt, Pak powered through 170kg, edging ahead by one kilogram in total to claim golds in both the clean and jerk and overall. China's Wang Min collected three bronze medals.

China's Zheng Xinhao opened strong in the men's 67kg class, winning snatch gold with 147kg. However, his campaign faltered in the clean and jerk, managing only his opening 170kg for bronze. Vietnam's Tran Minh Tri capitalized on the opportunity, clinching the total gold with 318kg against Zheng's 317kg.
