The fourth ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC (the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Forum issued a Beijing Declaration on Tuesday.
The declaration states that amid a changing global landscape, the China-CELAC Forum has become a key platform for deepening cooperation between China and Latin American and Caribbean countries. It calls for stronger unity among countries of the Global South to jointly promote modernization and sustainable development.
The declaration also emphasizes the importance of enhanced multilateral cooperation to address global challenges, upholding the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and international law. It advocates for inclusive, mutually beneficial economic globalization.
