Colombia plans to join China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Colombian President Gustavo Petro said on Monday after arriving in Beijing to attend the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Forum.
Petro stated that the BRI has now expanded globally and that he believes it can drive a new wave of industrial development.
