In a park in Taiyuan, the capital of north China's Shanxi Province, nurses taught park staff how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to respond effectively in emergencies. The demonstration was part of a series of public welfare activities organized by a local hospital to mark International Nurses Day on May 12. More than 100 medical staff from the hospital visited parks, schools, neighborhoods, and homes, offering first aid training, health consultation, and nursing services.
