Chinese, Mongolian youth exchange enhances dialogue and cooperation in Beijing

Around 200 Chinese and Mongolian young people on Tuesday attended an exchange activity in Beijing. Yangug Sodbaatar, general secretary of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) and Xu Xiao, secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Youth League Central Committee attended the event.

Xu said that an enhanced China-Mongolia dialogue and cooperation along with promoting modernization drive play an important role in the peace, stability, development and prosperity in Asia and beyond. Xu expressed hope that the young generation from both countries could protect and inherit culture, lead the cultural innovation and development, and push forward cultural exchange and cooperation. 

In his address, Zhao Shitong, assistant-minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee said China and Mongolia are good neighbors helping each other in times of crisis, good partners of mutual benefit and win-win results and good friends of frequent communication.

"An enhanced communication between the young generation is an essential part of the party-to-party exchanges for both sides," noted Zhao, adding that the exchange is a noble cause of great significance which creates benefits not only for current, but also future generations. Zhao expressed hope that the youth organizations of both parties are able to strengthen cooperation and contribute to the development of party-to-party relations to build a China-Mongolia community with a shared future.

Byaruuzana Purevdagva, the president of the Social Democratic Youth Mongolia, emphasized in his speech that China and Mongolia are good neighbors, and the young generations shoulder important tasks of promoting bilateral relationship. Purevdagva noted that the collaboration of young generations in both countries further promotes regional peace, stability, development and prosperity.

The Communist Youth League of China and the Social Democratic Youth Mongolia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the event. The activity, as part of the Global Civilization Initiative International Youth Talk, was hosted by the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the Communist Youth League of China, and organized by the China International Youth Exchange Center.
